Bute Energy is planning three wind farms for mid-Wales consisting of 65 turbines up to 220m high and a grid connection corridor of more than 300 pylons running 60 miles all the way to Carmarthen. The planning application for the first of these wind farms, Nant Mithil Energy Park, covering Radnor Forest, is due later this year.

The Statutory Public Consultation for Nant Mithil Wind Farm is open until 24th June. The documents can be viewed on their website.
